Respected guests, esteemed faculty members, proud parents, and my dear students,

It is an honour and a heartfelt moment for me to welcome you all to the Indiana Institute of Management Studies. This is a platform for the beginning of a new journey in Hotel and Hospitality education, one that is especially dedicated to students from rural and small‑town backgrounds.

As someone who hails from a small town myself, I understand the dreams, challenges, and untapped potential that exist in places often overlooked. I stand here not just as a Director, but as someone who has walked a similar path, and I want each of you to know – your roots are your strength, not a limitation.

Today is more than the inauguration of a college. It is the birth of opportunity, a platform created to bring skills, confidence, and global exposure to talented students from rural communities. Our vision is simple yet powerful – to make quality hotel management education accessible to every deserving student, regardless of background.

The hospitality industry is growing rapidly, opening doors around the world. But to truly succeed, we need not just technical knowledge, but also communication skills, professionalism, and a deep understanding of human values. Our college aims to provide all of this – a blend of academic excellence, practical training, and personality development, all grounded in the values of sustainability, service, and respect.

To our students: you are the heart of this mission. Dream big, stay focused, and don’t be afraid to rise above limits. The world is waiting for your talent.

To our faculty and staff: let’s be the mentors and motivators these young minds need. Let’s guide them not just as teachers, but as supporters of their journey.

To the parents and local community: thank you for trusting us. Your support makes this dream possible.
